From Office to Office: A Run With Heart

How KOcycle Founder Oliver Mason Raised Over £6,000 for GOSH Charity

In November of 2025, KOcycle founder Oliver Mason took on an extraordinary personal challenge. This challenge pushed his body, brought his team together, and raised meaningful funds for an organisation making a real difference in the lives of seriously ill children.

Oli’s “Office to Office” run wasn’t just another charity sprint, it was a true test of determination and community spirit. Over the course of three days, he ran 130 kilometres from KOcycle’s headquarters in Braintree to the company’s Camberley office, traversing half marathons each day, facing tired legs and blistered feet, all with one mission in mind: to support Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

A Challenge Fuelled by Cause

As Oli described on LinkedIn, the journey was both physically gruelling and deeply rewarding. On the final leg of the challenge, he shared heartfelt moments even receiving a handmade card while visiting Great Ormond Street Hospital itself. His legs may have been “fried,” but the motivation never wavered, rallied on by his KOcycle colleagues, clients and partners throughout.

And the results were inspiring!

Surpassing the Goal

Initially setting out to raise £3,000, Oli’s fundraiser quickly gained momentum. With donations from colleagues, friends, clients, and the wider LinkedIn community, the campaign ultimately raised over £6,000, more than double the original target. These funds will go straight to GOSH Charity, helping the hospital continue its vital work supporting children with serious illnesses and their families. Alongside this KOcycle donated laptops and devices to GOSH through their KODI programme to further support the hospital with its amazing work.

Why It Matters: The Impact of GOSH Charity

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity exists to support one of the UK’s most renowned paediatric hospitals, funding pioneering research, specialist equipment, and facilities that transform care for children facing life-limiting and complex health challenges. Whether through major events or grassroots fundraisers like Oli’s run, every donation helps give children “the best chance and the best childhood possible.”

Oli summed up the experience with gratitude and pride. While he joked about being “banned from considering any more challenges until the new year,” he made it clear that this was just the beginning of his fundraising journey.

A Thank You to Supporters

The success of this run wasn’t just about kilometres covered or pounds raised, it was about the community that rallied behind the effort. From the logistics support and small donations to the encouraging notes that kept Oli moving, this was a team effort in every sense.

To everyone who contributed, thank you, your support helped achieve something remarkable: turning kilometres into hope, action, and impact for children who need it most.
