At KOcycle, sustainability goes beyond the environment – it’s about people. That’s why we created KODI (KOcycle Digital Inclusion), a programme designed to get high-quality, reused technology into the hands of those who need it most. By donating devices to charities and community organisations, KODI helps reduce tech waste while tackling digital exclusion and creating real social impact.
Since its launch, KODI has become central to KOcycle’s mission. We believe access to technology is essential for learning, connection, and opportunity, and KODI allows us to put those values into action by ensuring devices are reused where they can do the most good.
In 2025, KODI has supported a wide range of inspiring organisations all across the country, some such as, Share Wokingham, Wokingham Foodbank, Little Miracles Charity, Islington Giving Children’s Charity, Tadpoles Community Pre School, GOSH and Community Tech Aid. These groups provide vital services, and access to reliable technology helps them extend
their reach and impact.
Since April 1st 2025 alone, KOcycle has supported over 25 charities and community groups, donating more than 448 devices through KODI. That’s 448 more people with access to technology, digital skills, information, and opportunity. A powerful example of how reused tech can change lives.
KODI isn’t an add-on, it’s a core part of who we are! Every donated device reflects our commitment to social value, sustainability, and meaningful reuse. By combining environmental responsibility with social impact, KODI shows how technology can empower individuals and strengthen communities.
We’re incredibly proud of what KODI has achieved so far, and we’re excited to build on this momentum. As we look toward 2026, we’re inspired by the growing impact KODI can make, connecting more people, supporting more causes, and unlocking more opportunities through technology.
